A Career in Cybersecurity — The Time is Now
“The cybersecurity threats posed to the systems that control and operate the critical infrastructure on which we all depend are among the most significant and growing issues confronting our Nation. The degradation, destruction, or malfunction of systems that control this infrastructure could cause significant harm to the national and economic security of the United States.”
If you’re considering a career in Cybersecurity, the time to act is now.
Thanks to the White House’s National Security Memorandum on Improving Cybersecurity for Critical Infrastructure Control Systems (quoted above), which was signed by President Biden on July 28th, 2021. The memorandum, a voluntary initiative aimed at targeting cybersecurity threats, promotes the cybersecurity and resilience of systems supporting National Critical Functions.
This is good news for students in Peloton College’s newest program: Cybersecurity.
