Medical Assistant Program
Peloton College’s Medical Assistant program is here to help you achieve a Medical Assistant certificate. This program helps prepare students for the healthcare industry. We provide formal training through classroom instruction and clinical field experience.
As part of the program, students can expect:

Peloton College faculty assist students in performing functions of Medical Assisting. This includes being able to perform duties such as:

Peloton College’s Medical Assisting program length is 36 weeks and is offered in a hybrid learning method.
Medical Billing and Coding Program
At Peloton College, the Medical Billing and Coding program prepares students with the skills necessary for entry-level positions in a medical facility. Peloton College incorporates:
- Classroom instruction
- Electronic health records training
- Hands-on learning experiences
During Peloton College’s Medical Billing and Coding program, students practice using software to create:
- Patient records
- Reports
- Code settings
Medical Billing and Coding courses take about 36 weeks to complete. The goal of the formal training is for students to master the responsibilities of a Medical Coder and Biller.
AAS in Cybersecurity
Peloton College’s Associate of Applied Science in Cybersecurity teaches students the skills necessary for entry-level employment in the Cybersecurity industry. The Cybersecurity program prepares students to manage, support, and secure networks. Knowing preventive care of computer system servers minimizes risks for:

Peloton College School History
Peloton College, L.L.C. was established in 2005, with its main campus being in Dallas, Texas. The school was originally named Lawyer’s Assistant School of Dallas. In 2008, Larry Van Loon joined the organization as a partner and the College applied for national accreditation. It it was accredited in 2009 by The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges. After accreditation, new programs were added such as:
- Electronic Health Records
- Medical Assistant
- Paralegal Studies
- Information Technology Support Professional
In 2014, the College was approved to also offer Associate of Applied Science degrees for these same programs. In 2016, Peloton College added a branch campus in Arlington, Texas. In 2018, Peloton College was accredited by the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education (COE), 7840 Roswell Road, Building 300, Suite 325, Atlanta, GA 30350, www.council.org. In 2021, the Dallas campus added the Associate of Applied Science in the Cybersecurity program. Information Technology related seminar courses were added in 2022. Peloton College continues to grow for the benefit of its students!
